Hillary is such a professional, polite and knowledgeable individual. Ever since our first encounter, I knew I wanted Hillary to attend to me at all times. Dnt get me wrong, all the girls are sweet and capable, however Hillary exhibits an unmatched degree of competence, confidence and obvious experience. Hillary is also the perfect “sidekick” for Dr. Chough! She receives and interprets instructions so well and there’s little to no need for a repeat of what needs to be executed or what is expected. She also demonstrates remarkable precision in a very timely manner! Please keep Hillary on the team and give her some sort of lead position! She’s simply and truly amazing and exemplary!

With today’s visit I was very impressed with Dr. Miller’s professionalism, and her expertise. Dr. Miller gave my daughter Jessica options for her treatment and a piece of mind. Helen was amazing with explaining everything as a smooth transition. The warm welcoming to the Hackensack office by Helen and Keisha made the great first impression and difference. We will definitely be back to this office. Since we came from the Clifton office that was not accommodating and not professional. If you are looking for great treatment and service don’t hesitate to reach out. Thank you Dr. Miller and Staff!

The intake staff were so sweet and accommodating. They took us right away. Once seated in the room my daughter was choosing what color rubber bands she wanted. Her tech was so light-handed and gentle she barely felt him working. All of our initial questions were answered and we were there approximately 1 hour. It’s was a pleasant experience.

The average cost of braces in New York generally falls between $3,500 and $7,000, depending on factors such as treatment type, provider experience, and case complexity. Diamond Braces offers a more affordable option, with metal braces ranging from $3,200 to $5,200—significantly below the citywide average. Patients also benefit from flexible payment plans and transparent pricing. Learn more about braces pricing and available financing options by learning how much do braces cost.

Invisalign treatment duration depends on the severity of the dental misalignment. Most cases at Diamond Braces are completed within 12 to 24 months. However, minor cases can be completed in less than a year.

During the initial consultation, Diamond Braces provides a detailed digital scan and 3D treatment simulation to show patients what results they can expect and how does invisalign work.

At Diamond Braces, patients typically begin treatment shortly after their initial consultation, with all financial arrangements, insurance approvals, and treatment planning completed in advance. During the first active orthodontic visit, the orthodontic team places the selected appliances, such as clear or metal braces. For Invisalign patients, a 3D scan is performed, the doctor designs a custom treatment plan, and the case is submitted to Invisalign for aligner fabrication. At the second visit, attachments are applied and the first set of aligners is delivered. Patients also receive comprehensive guidance on what to expect during treatment, how to manage any initial discomfort, and how to maintain proper oral hygiene throughout their orthodontic care.

For traditional braces, appointments are usually scheduled every 4 to 8 weeks to adjust wires and monitor progress. Invisalign patients may have check-ups every 6 to 12 weeks, depending on the treatment plan. In addition, with invisalign treatment the patient has the option to use Virtual Care, which allows patients to submit photos on a weekly basis to the clinical team for progress monitoring.

To start treatment and receive a personalized schedule, patients can book a visit at a nearby dental clinic.

If a bracket becomes loose or a wire pokes out, it's important to contact your orthodontist as soon as possible. In the meantime, orthodontic wax can be applied to relieve discomfort, and a small wire can be tucked back in place with a clean pencil eraser or tweezers. Avoid cutting wires unless advised by a professional.

For orthodontic issues, patients are encouraged to consult the emergency at-home guide for immediate care tips and next steps before visiting an orthodontist.
