Description:

The General Dentist plays a key role in delivering comprehensive orthodontic care to PPO and Private Pay patients through examining, diagnoses, and treatment of dental malocclusions by creating comprehensive treatment plans. You will be an essential member of the Diamond Braces clinical team, contributing significantly to our mission of delivering Accessible and Affordable orthodontic care with Amazing service.

This position is full-time and may require late night and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivers high quality clinical care
  • Communicates with the clinical director regarding any concerns
  • Follows all established guidelines in accordance with state and federal laws
  • Instructs licensed dental assistants on providing patient specific care
  • Examine patients’ dental records
  • Check teeth, gums and other parts of the mouth, along with X-rays and tests, to diagnose dental problems
  • Follow all established guidelines in accordance with state and federal laws and regulations.
  • Assist dental team in delivering high standards of care and educating patients on proper orthodontic after care

Qualifications:

  • Degree from accredited dental school
  • Current license to practice in the state of employment
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
