Meet Dr. John Castronova, Diamond Braces Orthodontist!
Dr. Castronova is proud to be a member of the Diamond Braces team.
He's originally from in Nutley, New Jersey, but his family has ancestral roots in Bari, Italy. He attended dental school at Rutgers University and completed his orthodontic residency at Montefiore Medical Center.
Get to Know Dr. Jason Berk, Diamond Braces Orthodontist!
Dr. Jason Berk comes from Melville, New York. He did his dental school at SUNY Buffalo and his residency at SUNY Melville.
Dr. Berk's journey to orthodontics began…on his bike! Or rather, on the ground after he fell off his bike as a child, which damaged his teeth. He had amazing care from his pediatric dentist and his orthodontist, and they inspired him to pursue his own career as an orthodontist. Luckily, he hasn't had any bad bike accidents since then – make sure to wear your helmet, Dr. Berk!

We're so glad to have the talented Dr. Chowdhury on our team. This hard-working mom is an integral part of Diamond Braces!
Originally from Bangladesh, Dr. Chowdhury moved to New York with her family in 2001. She completed her bachelor's degree at Barnard College, and her dental graduate school at Columbia University. Finally, she completed her orthodontic residency at Rutger’s University.

Dr. Suh grew up in South Korea, and came to the United States when he was 21. He originally studied chemical engineering, but he later decided to switch to dentistry. He was inspired by the orthodontists who provided his braces when he was young, and was fascinated by how the treatment was able to transform his smile.
Dr. Bordonaba is glad to be a part of the Diamond Braces team – and we're so glad to have him!
Dr. Bordonaba was born and raised in Barcelona, Spain. Growing up, he wasn't thinking about becoming an orthodontist – he actually wanted to be a mechanical engineer and design cars for Audi! Unfortunately for Audi, Dr. Bordonaba is a people person, and he quickly realized he needed a career where he wouldn't spend all his time with only papers and numbers. He liked the interpersonal aspect of dentistry, and eventually switched careers to become a dentist.
Dr. Zachary DiSpirito was born and raised in the Philadelphia area. Growing up, he was determined to become a veterinarian. While pursuing his pre-veterinary medicine degree in college, he began to realize his higher passion for healthcare and desire to work with and help people directly. He then began to explore the field of dentistry and moved to NYC to attend New York University College of Dentistry, where he earned his DDS. During that time, it was the exciting challenge of problem-solving and the ability to transform patients' health and confidence through their smiles that led him to pursue specialty training in orthodontics. To achieve this, he returned to Philadelphia and completed his residency in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at Temple University.
Get to know Dr. Eliana Sarit, Diamond Braces Orthodontist!
Dr. Sarit came to New York by way of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, where she was born. She eventually moved here to the U.S., and completed her dental school at Columbia University.
During her dental school, she shadowed a few orthodontists, and was surprised to see how happy people were to come in and see their orthodontist, and how excited they were to see their progress straightening their smiles. This inspired her to become an orthodontist herself, and she completed her orthodontic residency at Temple University in Philadelphia. She loves to see her patients grow over time and get to know their families as they achieve great smiles.

Dr. Douglas is originally from Arkansas, but she's excited to be living in New York and working with Diamond Braces.
She loves working as a dentist because her patients are genuinely excited to come in for their treatments. And the best part? “Everyone leaves with a smile they're really excited about!”

He completed his dental training at Stoneybrook University, and later his orthodontic training at Detroit Medical University.

Dr. Nicole Liu is originally from Taichung, Taiwan with ancestral roots in Taiwan and Myanmar. She immigrated to California at the age of 12 and completed her education up to University in Northern California. Dr. Nicole Liu completed her dental school, advanced education in general dentistry, and orthodontic residency at New York University College of Dentistry.
